Jukebox Story are once again looking for short stories inspired by pop songs for their October show at London’s Bloomsbury Festival.

This time the theme is Medicine and Revitalisation (one of the themes of the Bloomsbury Festival) so choose a song and write an 800 word story, and the best will be performed at The Harrison on 18 October by regular Jukebox Story hosts Steve Keyworth and Stephanie Gerra.

The winning story as voted for by the audience will receive a unique Jukebox Story USB mixtape and be published at http://www.jukeboxstory.com and on the Bloomsbury Festival website.  So get scribbling and send your story to jukeboxstory@gmail.com by 10 October.

Stories must be no longer than 800 words (but can be shorter).  They must be typed and double spaced, saved as a word document and emailed to jukeboxstory@gmail.com by 10 October 2013.  Remember to number pages and to include your name, email address and a phone number too.  Stories not adhering to these terms will not be considered.  Please note, if your story is successful, we like the writer to be there on the night to hear your story read, so if you are unable to attend Jukebox Story reserves the right to make last minute changes to the line-up.
